Keith Pilkington honed his bank marketing skills during an era marked by rapid consolidation in the financial services industry and the resurgence in retail branch banking.
During the last 20 months at Amalgamated, Mr. Pilkington has transformed the Bank's branch network by strengthening the focus on sales and service and revamped the consumer and small business product lines. He also prepared the foundation for the Bank to grow its retail network from 12 to 20 branches in the New York metropolitan area as well as in Las Vegas and California.

In January 2008, Mr. Pilkington coordinated, over a long weekend, the work of a multi-faceted team from Amalgamated. The group successfully re-configured three in-store branches in Las Vegas, which were acquired from another bank, linked the new branches to Amalgamated's operation center in New York City and completely changed the interior space of each location. The branch staff began serving customers at 9 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Mr. Pilkington has over 30 years of experience as a senior-level, bank marketing executive. During his career, he developed and executed comprehensive marketing and communications programs to support the rollout of hundreds of new branch locations in the Northeast and nationwide. He also successfully managed the critical process of integrating more than 300,000 new customer accounts following a bank acquisition. And, he has developed and implemented marketing strategies and launched new products that have generated over $3 billion in new core deposits.

During his career, Mr. Pilkington has held top marketing officer positions at JPMorgan Chase, Commerce Bank, PNC East and MidLantic Bank.
