Chief Financial Officer
During his career in the banking industry, Michael Indiveri, who is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, has developed a broad-base of expertise in financial administration, strategic planning and regulatory reporting. While holding senior-level positions at commercial banks and thrifts, Mr. Indiveri has achieved a proven record of success improving profitability, enhancing operating efficiencies and implementing internal controls.
At Amalgamated Bank, Mr. Indiveri has developed a highly-qualified accounting team. In less than six months, he and his team have implemented effective operating systems and control programs, generated timely and accurate financial reports and reduced the fraud risk.
He is also responsible for implementing fully integrated data processing and financial reporting platforms that will support the Bank's ongoing growth and expansion plans.
During his more than 30 years in the banking business, he has acquired expertise managing: investment portfolios, corporate tax issues and asset liabilities. Prior to joining Amalgamated, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Board of Directors of City & Suburban Federal Savings Bank. He also held Senior Vice President and CFO positions with New York Federal Savings Bank and the Savings Bank of Rockland County.
At Chase Manhattan Bank, he was financial manager in corporate finance and a sector manager in international accounting.
Mr. Indiveri, who lives with his family in Succasunna, New Jersey, received his Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Rutgers University.
Mr. Indiveri is also on the Board of Directors of All Hallows High School, which is located on East 164th Street in the Bronx, and NRDC Acquisition Corp.
