Michael McIntyre

Underwriter and Portfolio Manager

Michael joined Amalgamated Capital in October of 2011 and is responsible for asset based and cash flow Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Michael brings extensive experience as an asset based lender and as a senior corporate finance executive for a private company.

Prior to joining AmalCap, Michael was a Senior Vice President – Finance for a diversified distribution company for the past six years with annual revenue of $900 million.

From 2002 to 2006, he was Vice President – Senior Underwriter and Account Manager at GE Commercial Finance Corporate Lending Group in New York. From 2001 to 2002, he was a Vice President – Senior Underwriter with CIT’s Business Credit Group in New York. From 1998 to 2001, he was an Assistant Vice President – Account Manager and Underwriter at National Bank of Canada Commercial Lending in New York. From 1992 to 1998, he was an Assistant Collateral Audit Department Manager and an Assistant Vice President – Underwriter at Heller Financial in New York.

Michael began his career as an Auditor in the middle market practice at KPMG Peat Marwick in New York. Michael graduated from Northeastern University in 1990, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance.
