Joseph E. Brunken

Joseph E. Brunken is the Head of the Investment Management Division for Amalgamated Bank. In this role, Mr. Brunken will be responsible for developing and executing a marketing strategy that will assist the Division in expanding its alliances with trustees of jointly-administered trust funds as well as other Institutional Investor market segments including: public funds, health service organizations, eleemosynary funds and corporate pension plans and their consultants.

Before joining the Bank, Mr. Brunken was a Senior Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing at Mutual of America Capital Management Corporation. At the firm, recruited, trained and managed the sales team. He also developed successful marketing, communications and sales programs that presented the organization’s debt and equity investment strategies to a variety of institutional investors. Prior to working at Mutual of America Capital Management, Mr. Brunken served as Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing at Nikko Capital Management (USA), Inc. Mr. Brunken earned his master’s degree in Business Policy from the Columbia University School of Business and did undergraduate work at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business.
