The Bank offers a wide variety of FREE financial literacy classes focusing on basic banking, debt reduction, understanding credit, savings and investments. Most of the classes are offered in our branches along with various government agencies and strategic non-profit partners in the community. The Bank also conducts educational programs on home foreclosure prevention and resources for first time homebuyers to successfully achieve home-ownership.
The Las Vegas Homeownership and Financial Empowerment Center has been established to serve the Culinary Union members and other Bank customers in the Las Vegas community with information and resources on ways to preserve and promote homeownership, reduce debt and develop sound savings plans. The purpose of the Center is to provide working class people, immigrants and small businesses with a "One Stop Shop" promoting both Bank and other community-based programs, resources, and services associated with home foreclosure prevention, first-time buyer homeownership, and MoneySense financial literacy education.
The Center offers a wide choice of both individual and group counseling and education sessions at no charge.
