Bud Pellecchia, Executive Vice President – Chief Trust Officer
Bud Pellecchia has overall responsibility for Amalgamated Bank’s Institutional Asset Management & Custody Department. Mr. Pellecchia has over 20 years of experience working with institutional investors. Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank, Mr. Pellecchia was a Senior Vice President with Callan Associates where he provided general consulting services to Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and other institutional plan sponsors. Prior to Callan, Mr. Pellecchia spent 12 years with Prudential Investments in a number of sales and management roles within their asset management and consulting divisions. Mr. Pellecchia is a graduate of Hamilton College with a B.A. in Economics.
Louis A. Sarno, Senior Vice President - Chief Investment Officer
Louis A. Sarno oversees all institutional asset management for the Trust and Investment Services group at Amalgamated Bank. Mr. Sarno leads the group's investment specialists in offering public and private equity, alternative, and fixed income strategies. Mr. Sarno joined Amalgamated Bank in 1992 as a fixed income portfolio manager, becoming Director of Fixed income investments in 1998 with oversight for the LongView Core Bond Fund, Intermediate, and Short Term fixed income strategies. Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank, Mr. Sarno served as a fixed income analyst at Bankers Trust Company. Mr. Sarno is a graduate of Fordham University with a B.A. in Economics and History.
David E. Ourlicht, Senior Vice President - Marketing & Sales
David E. Ourlicht is responsible for all Marketing and Sales of Amalgamated Bank’s Trust and Investment services. Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank, Mr. Ourlicht was a Senior Vice President of The Swarthmore Group. He was a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Policy Committee and Chaired the Marketing Committee. He was responsible for the Marketing, Client Service and Business Development. He currently serves as a Trustee and a member of the Finance Committee for the South Street Seaport Museum. Mr. Ourlicht has over 20 years of financial services and investment experience. Mr. Ourlicht holds a B.S. in Business from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and has held NASD licenses Series 7, 63, 27, and 54.
Matthias F. Erieg, Senior Vice President - Director, Western Region Trust & Investment
Matt Erieg has overall responsibility for operations and marketing of the Bank's trust and investment services on the West Coast. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Erieg first served 17 years in management with a leading employee benefit consulting firm, providing consulting services to Taft-Hartley pension plans across the country. For the following nine years, Mr. Erieg was chief executive of a group of national multi-employer pension and health plans. He graduated from Curry College with a B.A. in business administration and economics. He is a frequent speaker at International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans seminars and has spoken extensively in university and plan sponsor settings on employee benefit and fund investment issues.
Roy Dickinson, Senior Vice President - Portfolio Manager
Roy Dickinson is a Senior Vice President with Amalgamated Bank and one of the Portfolio Managers of Amalgamated Bank's LongView ULTRA I Construction Loan Investment Fund. As a team, Roy and Debbie Nisson designed and implemented the concept of a construction loan fund that would finance projects exclusively using 100% union labor. Roy was a Co-Founder and 50% owner of ULTRA, LLC which acted as the exclusive adviser to the Fund from inception to 2004 when Roy joined Amalgamated Bank. Mr. Dickinson was previously employed from 1966 through 1998 by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and served as the Executive Assistant to the International Secretary for Investments and Employee Benefits from 1985 to 1998. He is a 40-year member of the IBEW. As Executive Assistant, Mr. Dickinson was responsible for making and implementing recommendations for investment of the IBEW Pension Benefit Fund and the IBEW General Fund with combined assets in excess of 1.7 billion dollars. His duties included recommending and monitoring equity and fixed income managers, trustee reporting, recommending and implementing investment guidelines and asset allocation, and active management of a $150 million real estate portfolio. From 1987 to 1993, Mr. Dickinson supervised the National Electrical Benefit Fund, with approximately $500 million in real estate investments. During his tenure these funds provided over $600 million in construction financing. Mr. Dickinson graduated from the University of Maryland in 1966 with a B.S. in General Studies specializing in Economics and Business Administration.
Deborah C. Nisson, Senior Vice President - Portfolio Manager

Thomas B. O'Donnell, First Vice President - Director of Equities
Thomas O'Donnell is responsible for all Public Equity investment strategies including Commingled Funds and Separately Managed Accounts and the Bank's Public Equity sub-investment advisors. He joined the Bank in 2001 with 25 years of experience encompassing portfolio management, performance evaluation, investment research, securities lending and SEC compliance. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. O'Donnell was a senior portfolio manager for American Re Asset Management (ARAM) in Florham Park, N.J. He was responsible for the analysis of corporate and mortgage-backed securities and management of property & casualty insurance company taxable fixed income portfolios. Before joining First Quadrant (predecessor organization to ARAM) in 1989, Mr. O'Donnell was a senior investment officer at J&W Seligman in New York. Mr. O'Donnell is a graduate of Iona College with a BBA in Finance.
Steven Hartt, First Vice President – Portfolio Manager, Alternative Investments
Steven Hartt is responsible for private equity and other alternative asset investments offered by Amalgamated Bank. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Hartt was a senior private equity investment manager for Citigroup Investments in New York, NY. At Citigroup he analyzed, negotiated and managed a portfolio of private equity fund and direct investments both domestically and internationally. Before joining Citigroup, Mr. Hartt was at Dean Witter Reynolds and Morgan Guaranty Bank. Mr. Hartt received an MBA from the Columbia University School of Business and is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a BS in finance.
E. Claire Martin-McKay, First Vice President - Director of Trust Operations
Claire Martin-McKay has overall responsibility for Amalgamated Bank's Trust Department Operations, which encompasses transaction processing, asset servicing, cash management and financial reporting. She has more than 20 years of experience in investment accounting and custody operations. Ms. Martin-McKay joined the bank in 1992 and has managed the Employee Benefit Reporting Group and the Fund Accounting Group for more than 13 years before becoming the Director of Trust Operations in 2008. Prior to joining the bank, Ms. Martin-McKay worked in the Capital Markets Division of Dollar Dry Dock Bank. Ms. Martin-McKay received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
Margaret Stumpp, Ph.D., Senior Managing Director for Quantitative Management - Prudential Investments
Margaret Stumpp is responsible for directing Prudential Investments' activities as sub-advisor for Amalgamated Bank's LongViewSM Quantitative Fund. At Prudential Ms. Stumpp also oversees research on asset allocation, security valuation and portfolio optimization. Ms. Stumpp manages a tactical asset allocation portfolio, several balanced investment portfolios, and co-manages Prudential's own retirement plan. Prior to jointing Prudential in 1987, Ms. Stumpp was employed by AT&T and Price Waterhouse. Ms. Stumpp received a B.A. in economics from Boston University and holds an A.M. and Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University.
Wai C. Chiang, Managing Director for Quantitative Management - Prudential Investments
Wai C. Chiang is responsible for directing Prudential Investments' activities as sub-advisor for Amalgamated Bank's LongViewSM equity index funds. Mr. Chiang manages and trades eighteen domestic portfolios, including index funds, quantitative core equity funds, and futures tactical asset allocation accounts for Prudential. Prior to joining Prudential in 1986, Mr. Chiang was employed at Salomon Brothers and Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Engineering and earned an M.B.A. in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
James L. Herbst, Managing Director U.S. Corporate Sector Portfolio Manager - Prudential Investments
James L. Herbst is responsible for directing Prudential Investments' activities as sub-advisor for Amalgamated Bank's LongViewSM Core Bond Index Fund. He is product manager for Prudential's fixed income index strategy and is also a corporate bond portfolio manager. Mr. Herbst joined Prudential Financial in 1985 and has specialized in U.S. fixed income since 1987. He has been a portfolio manager since 1988. Mr. Herbst received a B.S. in Accounting from Seton Hall University and an M.B.A. in Finance from New York University.
