Keith joined the bank in 2012 after serving four years as the CFO of SEIU. A 25-year veteran of the labor movement with Workers United, UNITE HERE, UNITE and AFL-CIO, his three decades of experience in the financial sector, assisting the bank’s core constituencies in labor, nonprofits, political organizations, and issue-advocacy, made him a natural fit as Director of Amalgamated’s Washington region. Since his appointment to CEO in 2014, Keith has spearheaded initiatives to underscore the bank’s mission, including support of a $15 minimum wage (and raising the bank's minimum wage to $15), acceptance of IDNYC as a primary form of ID, and certification as a B Corp. Dixiana has been managing various aspects of Bank Operations for two decades. She joined Amalgamated from Sterling National Bank where she was the Director of Bank Operations. Dixiana has supervised all aspects of consumer and commercial bank operations including deposits, loans and leases, payments, remittance, and e-commerce. She is active with various industry groups and civic organizations.
Sam Brown joined Amalgamated Bank after serving as Director of the White House Business Council in the White House’s Office of Public Engagement. As President Obama’s liaison to the private sector, Sam worked on economic policies to help America’s working families and businesses succeed. Before leading the Business Council, Sam held various positions with President Obama. He served as founding Chief Operating Officer of Organizing for Action and Finance Chief of Staff for the Obama-Biden 2012 campaign.
Drew came to Amalgamated Bank in 2015 from JPMorgan Chase, where he was Chief Financial Officer for Business Banking. Prior to JPMC, Drew spent 17 years at Capital One Financial in various positions in operations, marketing and finance. Drew was a key member in building Capital One’s banking franchise through acquisitions and organic growth. He held positions as the CFO of Retail Banking and the CFO of Commercial Banking.
Responsible for overseeing Investment Management, Sales and Client Service, and Trust and Custody banking products, Jim has over 25 years of experience in pension and investment management, real estate and capital markets. Prior to joining Amalgamated, Jim worked at the AFL-CIO Investment Trust Corporation, where he led marketing, investor relations and labor relations efforts with Taft-Hartley and public fund investors in the AFL-CIO's Building Investment Trust and Equity Index Fund. Previously, he served in a similar role with the AFL-CIO Urban Development Fund and the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, where he was also a member of the Portfolio and Investment Committees.
Jamee joined Amalgamated Bank in 2017 after 11 years at American Express. Her most recent role was leading Strategic Partnerships and Marketing for American Express Travel, managing relationships with key travel industry partners, and heading up travel marketing strategy for premium Card Members. Previously, Jamee was Vice President and General Manager of Personal Savings, where she oversaw growth and management of the high-yield savings and deposit portfolio. Jamee also held positions in Global Commercial Card Payments and Global Merchant Services. Prior to American Express, she held strategic planning and marketing positions at Omnicom Group and Citigroup. Jamee earned an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in public relations from Penn State University.
A seasoned credit and risk executive, Mark joined Amalgamated from RBS Citizens Financial Group, where he was Head of Corporate Banking Commercial Portfolio Management and Chief Credit Officer (CCO) - Wholesale. Mark began his banking career at JPMorgan Chase where he held lending positions in Textiles and Apparel, Foreign Direct Investment, and High Tech. He then held management roles at IBJ Whitehall Bank. Mark served on the board of Project Renewal, a nonprofit providing housing and job training for homeless individuals.
Martin has over 15 years of experience in design, implementation and management of consumer digital financial services. He joins Amalgamated Bank from American Express, where he launched and led “Personal Savings” for six years and headed up the Strategic Planning Group international office in London. Prior to that, he was with Capital One, where he pioneered their first direct bank offering, led an internal team focused on enhancing customer experience, and developed a number of secure consumer online payment systems. Martin was also a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Washington D.C., and led a technology start-up in Cambridge, UK.
Peter joined Amalgamated Bank in 2016 from Unum Group where he served nine years as Vice President of Brand and Advertising. He led the repositioning and marketing efforts for all of Unum’s insurance brands in the U.S. and U.K. Before that, Peter was a Senior Vice President at a number of large New York City advertising agencies including, Grey, JWT, Ogilvy and Bozell. Over his career, he has created integrated marketing campaigns for thirty-five companies including financial industry giants Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, NASDAQ and Commerce Bank.
Mark joined the bank from Morgan Stanley where he developed and executed a comprehensive, risk-based audit plan and developed an integrated scorecard to evaluate key risk indicators and audit issues. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mark held senior level audit positions at both international and national banks, such as Credit Agricole, Bankers Trust, Standard Chartered and Credit Suisse. Mark is a former President and current Executive Committee member of the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Internal Auditors Division. He is also a board member of his local church and a youth soccer coach and active NCAA soccer referee.
Prior to joining Amalgamated in 2011, Jim was Chief Operating Officer of Ullico Inc., a labor-owned insurance and financial services company. Before that, Jim was Executive Vice President and President of the Graphics Division of New Media for Chyron Corporation, a video broadcast engineering company. In addition, Jim has held a variety of senior level human resources, operations and administrative management positions at organizations such as PRC, now part of Northrup Grumman, Bell Atlantic and Tele-TV, a joint venture of several regional Bell operating companies and Creative Artists Agency.
Edgar joined Amalgamated Bank after completing law school in 2006. He began his tenure with the bank in the General Counsel office in the role of Associate General Counsel. Over the past nine years, Edgar has focused on banking laws and regulations, regulatory compliance and examinations, and has served as a legal adviser to Amalgamated’s senior management. He also managed the bank’s compliance function in 2015. His areas of expertise include regulatory compliance, risk management, outsourced technology service providers, e-commerce, and data security and privacy. He is active with various industry groups.
Toni-Ann is a human resources leader with a background in banking. She joined Amalgamated in 2012 from Hudson Valley Bank. Toni-Ann became interested in a career in HR while at Meiselman, Packman, Nealon, Scialabba & Baker P.C., a firm specializing in labor and employment law. Her experience spans all facets of HR including talent acquisition, employee and labor relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the National Association of Professional Women.
Deborah joined the Amalgamated Bank's Legal department in 2007-08. Prior to joining Amalgamated, Deborah was Counsel at Lowenstein Sandler in New Jersey, specializing in Commercial Litigation. Earlier in her career, Deborah served as an Enforcement Attorney with the Office of Thrift Supervision.
Prior to joining the bank in 2010, Brian served as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at M&T Bank. Brian specializes in multi-family buildings, cooperative underlying mortgages, bulk cooperative and condominium apartments, mixed-use properties, and office buildings. His career began at the NYC Housing Partnership, promoting the development of affordable housing in NYC.
