Information from Amalgamated Bank
Amalgamated Bank is proud to have participated in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help small businesses during the Coronavirus pandemic. The PPP was created by the CARES ACT to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. The program is administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA), which guarantees 100% of the loans.
Although the SBA is no longer accepting new applications, borrowers who who applied and received their PPP Loan through Amalgamated Bank may qualify for full forgiveness through Amalgamated Bank's Loan Forgiveness Portal. You can enter the Portal by clicking this link.
We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Please be advised that you will not be able to apply for 2nd Draw PPP loan forgiveness until you have completed the forgiveness application process for your 1st Draw PPP loan.
We will continue to update this page as new information becomes available. You can also find the latest PPP information on the SBA website.
