Based in New York City, the UFT is made up of teachers, nurses and other professionals working in the five boroughs. With over 200,000 members, they advocate for fair and competitive salaries and workplace practices in order to advance the profession and well-being of its members. They also advocate for children and the communities in which they serve to fight for policies that make every New York City public school a place where children can thrive.
America Votes works across the country with over 300 state and national partner organizations to advance progressive policies, expand access to the ballot, coordinate issue advocacy and election campaigns, and protect every American’s right to vote.
The DGA is an independent and voluntary political organization whose goal is to support Democratic governors and candidates across the nation. Founded in 1983, it is the only organization dedicated to electing Democratic governors and candidates and participates at all campaign levels.
The DNC is the oldest continuing party committee in the United States. It is responsible for governing the Democratic Party, planning the Party’s presidential nominating convention, and promoting the Democratic Platform. The DNC raises money, hires staff, and coordinates strategy to support candidates for local, state, and national office throughout the country.

Ready for Hillary assembled a national grassroots network of supporters that worked to help Hillary compete in the 2016 presidential election.
Atlas: DIY is a cooperative empowerment center for immigrant youth and their allies. Headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, it is a place where immigrant youth can come to enjoy a wide variety of services such as legal counseling, language classes, college preparation programs, scholarship lists and more. Atlas helps to eliminate the inevitable stress in the lives of immigrant youth by giving them a safe space and making them feel part of a community.
Founded in 1985, AVAC is a non-profit organization that uses education, policy analysis, advocacy and a network of global collaborations to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of AIDS vaccines and other emerging HIV prevention options.
The mission of The Black Institute is to train and educate new leadership and develop initiatives to build wealth, build power, and deliver justice to people of color in the United States.
