Once I have elected to receive a Payment Card, how will I receive my child care payments for child care services that I have performed?

Once your new card is activated, all payments from ACS will be directly deposited to your card.

Is my Payment Card the same as a credit card?

Your card is not a credit card. You can spend only the amount available on the card.

Can I make a purchase using my card?

Yes. You can use your card wherever Mastercard is accepted. International ATM and Point of Sale (POS) transactions are not available.

Will I be charged a fee for using my card to withdraw cash?

There is no fee for withdrawing cash at an Amalgamated Bank branch ATM or at one of the more than 40,000 Allpoint® ATMs nationwide.*

Can I add money to my card balance?

No. Only ACS or its payment agent can add funds to your card.

How do I know what I have spent, or what I have available?

You can review your balance and transaction history at any time by visiting our website at amalgamatedbank.com/paymentcard or by calling us at (866) 601-8090.

What if I have a question or problem regarding the amount of money loaded to my card?

The amount of funds loaded to your card is determined by ACS, based on your pay rate for the child care services you provide. If you have any questions concerning the amount, you must call the ACS ECE Call Center directly at 212.835.7610 and press #, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ET.
